The combat (from the prior session) is over for now. Enkili is in the southern passage, keeping on eye on things down there.
The party discusses their status and what to do next. Some are heavily injured, such as Blaylocke and Grynn.
Jolrael surveys the room/area. Finds a few sheets of parchment on a desk. They are:
Also a locked drawer in the desk at north. Enkili pries it open with crowbar. Miscellaneous sundries, but there is a packet wrapped in linen: Black Metal Claws, non-magical, made of adamantine, some type of exotic weapon. These are put in Grynn's bag of holding.
Healing:
Enkili takes measures to secure or blockade the secret door to the south -- barricading with desks and such. Jolrael and Enkili do the same for the northern door (the door that Leiya closed last session w/ Thaumaturgy cantrip).
We explore the southern corridor. We hear a scraping sound to the south. Grynn focuses and listens intently; he says it sounds like claws on stone, along with a voice whispering.
Open door. Enkili sees a hulking silhouette with a smaller form on it. Blaylocke shouts "Wargs! Goblin riders!"
The play-by-play of each round is listed out below in case someone needs it. The combat itself lasted for three rounds.

Various supplies, weapons, food and water, etc., are around this room. Leiya takes a water skin or water jug.
We find: a bag full of herbs of the type that Grynn uses.
We find: a finely-crafted halberd.
We find: a ring of keys.
We find: a strange black arrow, encrusted with runes.
We find: 130gp (collectively); an agate. (Jolrael takes the agate and the gold for now.)
Enkili narrowly avoids triggering a tripwire. This connects to the lever of the raised portcullis that we had passed. Beyond portcullis, a natural tunnel or cavern.
Grynn uses 2 spell slots, Augury - on northern route (beyond single door) and south. South - woe & weal, mostly woe. North - weal & woe, mostly weal. West - same as the North.
We close the portcullis here. We head northward.
