Enkili wanted to write letters to his Beloved Uncle the General Mardus, and to his dread inspiring grandfather The High Harbhamit. To his uncle his tale will be told, to the High Harbhamit he asks permission to return home with the sword when his adventures are through. He hopes he is not ordered home until the slavers are destroyed, but Enkili does have his orders.
